This product is called Computer Secrets Unleashed. It is written by a guy named Richard Pryor (no, not the comedian!). It is a two volume set: (1) Volume 1 PC Tips & Tricks and (2) Volume Two Home & Small Office Networking.

Pryor is a long-time player in the computer field, having been a programmer, a LAN manager, and more. Like any consultant, he charges high hourly rates to do personalized service.

I'll be the first to say that his sales page is a little gimmicky. But, the reason I bring this to your attention is because it is precisely tailored to my audience. In fact, so much so that I've emailed this guy to see about writing for PCMech. We'll see what happens. His two volume set is super affordable (cheaper than many PCMech products actually), so I thought it would be worth a look.
